Founded in 2017, Warm Bros is an LGBTQ+ zine I created and led across four issues to provide a platform and keepsake that highlights everyday queer artists and writers. The fourth issue, On Memory, serves as a time capsule of the COVID-19 pandemic, reflecting on how, while isolated and alone, we had space to reflect on our individual and collective pasts. Spanning a full year of work—from collecting art and editorial submissions to the final design going to print—the result is a 64-page zine that pairs a bold, 90s-inspired aesthetic with 21st-century grid forms and color to tell the stories of nearly 30 queer people from around the United States.
